ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY REGIONAL OFFICES

This regional office occupies a second-floor suite of The Rotunda, a six-storey AA-class, LEED Platinum Certified, downtown office and retail complex. Open studio work stations and private offices accommodate, executive engineers, administrators and technologists with meeting facilities for clients, in addition to service and amenities for staff. Clear definition was provided for the public reception separated from the work areas. Perimeter circulation of the studio area connects all with sound-isolated break-out work pods. As Mechanical Engineers for the base building, particular attention was paid to daylighting and optimizing HVAC distribution and comfort. Elements and materiality of the common rotunda atrium were incorporated, to visually extend that signature space into the private offices.
