Candidates for positions should meet the following criteria:

  • A professional or graduate degree in architecture; wide-ranging project architect experience in design development, construction documentation, technical detailing, and construction contract administration; strong design, technical, graphic, and written and verbal communication skills; experience in comprehensive planning and urban design is desirable.

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in architectural technology or architectural science; preferably a minimum 3 years of professional experience in construction detailing, building codes, and construction contract documentation.

  • Graduate of a CACB-certified school of architecture, preferably a minimum one year of experience in a professional practice; strong graphic design and communication skills.

  • Minimum of two previous work-term experiences as part of a university architecture program; minimum 4 month placement; proficiency with 2D and 3D design tools, as well as rendering, illustration, and presentation software; hand-drawing and model-making skills are desirable.
