FINANCIAL SERVICES OFFICE

Situated on the 2nd floor of the LEED Platinum certified Rotunda office complex designed by DAUSTUDIO, this corporate headquarters for a financial advisor is in the heart of Downtown. It houses reception, private offices, meeting rooms along with workstations and amenity spaces for the administrative staff. The space was envisioned as an extension of the circular atrium itself, with the same material and colour palette including limestone floor tile, walnut veneered doors and millwork, wood slats and planters. The reception area is welcoming but clearly separated from the private back of house. There is a continuous circulation path around the open work area connecting all sides of the office. Glazed partitions bring daylight to the central administrative area from three sides for a bright workspace. An exceptionally quiet acoustic environment is achieved with fabric-backed wooden slats and panelling, adding to the fan-less radiant heating system and absorptive perforated ceiling panels.
